This is a piece I made for my last project about a month ago. It was based on a short story called Sweeper of Dreams.

ha ha you're daughter sounds cool! I wasn't interested in art at all until I took it at gcse. it was that or pe! lol and now ive done 2 art courses at a-level got an a and an a* ive almost finished my Art foundation year and going into digital art now. one of the best descisions ive ever made, takin art!

Thanks! I'm going doing a course called CGI and digital effects. i'm hoping to get into digital set designs for films, but its a long road ahead!

So what line of work are you in? What is your daughter interested in?

aaww its tough out there at the minute! my mums been after a new job but no luck yet! Keep tryin somethin will come along!

haha thanks! same to you! ive just applied for a job at a special effects design studio in London, but not heard anythin yet! but i think they keep hold of applications for future use as well, so it might not be too late!

aaww bad times! mines just poorness from being a student! I'm tryin to get a summer job before i go to uni, might get some kind of savings goin! :P

I'm wondering where Incubus are gonna play on their next tour, I'll be really disappointed if they don't do manchester, but they're the one band I would travel for! have you seen them before?

o very good! Theres always a good atmosphere in Manchester! I love it! I'm gonna miss it so much when I go to uni in September! :( erm, last gig was the Maine at manc academy, but it was a bit rubbish! went on a whim with a friend and wasnt what we expected! Goin seein Panic! at the disco on monday though! Pretty excited, theyre doin a signing before hand in a HMV :D

Yes, even though they are talkign later in the year it gives you something to plan for. We can still have a pre-Incubus tour get together for the Yorkshire folk to plan our attack (and get pissed)

I think there are four so far but the membership numbers seem to be growing expedentially/quick so we might have more by then.  i tend to watch lots of local covers bands to get my live music fix for free.  At least you can sort the best boozer if its Sheffield! It won't be Huddersfield, that's for sure!
