Weekly Update #11 for the Week of May 22nd-May 29th
This week, Incubus’ Facebook passed the three million fans mark! News of If Not Now, When? is expanding like a supernova, drawing more fans both returning and new to Incubus World Headquarters as the band gears up for their new album release and subsequent tour.
Monday night, fans who had already joined the Berlin local group on Incubus World HQ were given a code to participate in a presale for tickets to the June 17th show at Huxley’s. Tickets have almost sold out, but a contest still remains to win backstage access at this venue, so be sure to check out the Germany group for details on how to participate.
On Tuesday, the HQ Presale for London HMV Forum tickets was confirmed for June 1st. Make sure you are part of the London group if you want a crack at the presale! The sale of the tickets to the general public should start on June 3rd.
Tuesday also saw Steve Rennie’s debut on Twitter. He can be found @Renman1 (http://twitter.com/#!/Renman1) and frequently drops gems, candy, and bombs from his account, so it is another great way to keep in touch with the band’s latest news and activities.
The band’s move-in date for HQLive was announced on Wednesday; they will be finished making the space their own and moving in on June 1st. Starting June 3rd onwards through the first week of July, things will be happening at HQLive. Renman advises that music could ‘break out at any time’ and that fans in the Los Angeles area should keep an eye on Twitter, Facebook and the HQ mobile app to keep appraised of when the fun is happening. Thursday, the team revealed that, unfortunately, Meet and Greet packages will not be available for some of the upcoming venues. This is due to various logistic constraints that Incubus can not do anything to fix, but even these venues should still have contests upcoming for a lucky pair of fans to earn backstage access. Thursday was also the start of the HQ presale for Incubus’ Santa Barbara show on July 15th at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Tickets for this show went very fast and the show sold out shortly after the general public sale opened on Saturday.
While the presales moved forward on HQ, the band was hard at work filming the music video for the next single, Promises Promises. Steve Rennie shared some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of the filming in progress on his Twitter, and revealed that the video should be through editing and processing by June 10th, and premiered for fans across the world shortly after that.
Friday night and all Saturday the band’s Livestream channel got a workout, as Incubus Intern Francisco Stiglich shared his dream setlist as well as some of his favorite videos from the Incubus archives both recent and remote. The Livestream will be the place to be for many goodies in the future, so bookmark it and stay tuned!
As always, the band appreciates all the hard work and dedication put in by all of its fans. This tour promises to be the best one yet, and everyone is going to get a chance to be a part of it. Incubus, from the ground up.

How come some of the tickets are through Live Nation and some through Ticketmaster? I know they are basically the same company but it seems strange.

Any word on when there will be a pre-sale for Saratoga Springs show on Sep 1st? Public on sale startes June 17th and I have the pre-sale code from pre-ordering the new CD, but there is no pre-sale information listed on livenation, only the public on sale date. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

In dieser Woche passierte die Incubus Facebookseite die 3 Millionen Fanmarke! Neuigkeiten in Bezug auf "If not now,when?" breiten sich aus wie ein Lauffeuer und ziehen sowohl rückkehrende als auch neue Fans in die Incubus World Headquarter und als das während die Band noch einen Gang zulegt was das neue Album und die damit verbundene Tour angeht.
Am Montag Abend erhielten alle Fans der Regionalgruppe Berlin einen Code, der es ihnen ermöglichen sollte, an einem Vor-Vorverkauf für die Berlin Show im Huxley's teilzunehmen. Das Konzert ist beinahe ausverkauft, es bleibt jedoch noch immer die Möglichkeit mithilfe eines Wettbewerbes Backstage Pässe und Tickets für die Veranstaltung zu gewinnen. Also erkundet die Deutschland Gruppe, um alle damit verbundenen Details was die Teilnahme angeht zu erhalten.
Am Dienstag wurde der Vorverkauf für das London HMV Forum für den 1. Juni 2011 bestätigt. Überprüft also, ob ihr wirklich Mitglied in der London Gruppe seid, wenn ihr eure Chance auf Karten nicht verpassen wollt. Der öffentliche Vorverkauf für dieses Konzert sollte am 3. Juni 2011 beginnen.

Am Donnerstag hat das Team leider mitteilen müssen, dass nicht für alle Konzerte Meet&Greet Angebote erhältlich sein werden. Ebenfalls am Donnerstag startete der Vorverkauf für das Incubus Konzert am 15. Juli 2011 im Santa Barbara Bowl, Santa Barbara. Die Tickets für diese Veranstaltung verkauften sich rasend schnell, so dass das Konzert kurze Zeit nach Beginn des öffentlichen Vorverkaufs bereits ausverkauft war.
Und während die Vor-Vorverkäufe in den HQ Bewegung aufnahmen, war die Band damit beschäftigt, das neue Musik Video zur neuen Single "Promises,Promises" zu drehen. Steve Rennie zeigte einige exklusive Aufnahmen vom Geschehen vor Ort im Enstehungsprozess auf seinem Twitter und gab bekannt, dass das Video wohl um den 10. Juni 2011 herum mit dem letzen Editing fertig werden wird und kurz darauf für die Fans weltweit uraufgeführt wird.
Freitag Abend und den gesamten Samstag über wurde der Livestream Channel der Band bis aufs Äußerste erprobt, als der Incubus Praktikant Francisco Stiglich seine Traum-Setliste und einige seine Lieblingsvideos aus den Incubus Archiven zeigte; unter ihnen sowohl neuestes als auch zufällig aufkommendes Material. Der Livestream wird auch in Zukunft ein Ort für Geschenke sein, also macht ihn zu eurem Lesezeichen und bleibt dran.
Wie immer weiß die Band die ganze harte Arbeit und Hingabe ihrer Fans sehr zu schätzen. Diese Tour verspricht die beste bisher zu werden und jeder bekommt die Chance ein Teil von ihr zu werden. Incubus, durch und durch.
