Video chat with Band Members - HOW TO GUIDE. Please read if you intend to participate or watch

We will be hosting the video chat on a new program called VOKLE. This should eliminate a lot of the skype issues we've had the last few times. But for it to work properly we need YOU to do your part too. Please read this guide BEFORE you join the video chat, otherwise there is a good chance that we won't call your name when it's go-time.

TO START: Click on over to HQ TV.

BEFORE the video chat starts:

- Create a Vokle account (or if you use Twitter you can sign in with your Twitter credentials when the chat starts)
- We recommend that your internet connection be hardwired, not wireless. This will make for a smoother connection
- Make sure you have headphones, and that your camera and microphone are ALREADY set up and working

Other notes:
We encourage you to tweet to your friends about the chat.

Okay now go through the prompts to check your set up.
It will involve some of the below steps

SELECT YOUR CAMERA

SELECT YOUR MIC

VIDEO CHAT HOME SCREEN

HOW TO ASK A QUESTION DURING THE CHAT

Click the Red "ASK A QUESTION' button on the right

Choose what type of question you want to ask

NOW FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

Click 'Allow" when it prompts you about Adobe Flash

Follow the Prompts on the screen to go through steps 3 and 4

PLUG IN YOUR HEADSET

CHECK MIC LEVELS

POSITION YOUR CAMERA

ASK YOUR QUESTION

Okay now you're ready to rock!

Your question will be in the queue. Now you patiently wait.

If we can get to your question than we will have a moderator contact you.

Vamos a conducir el video chat en un Nuevo programa llamado Vokle. Esto debería eliminar muchos de los problemas que tuvimos con skype antes. Pero para que funcione adecuadamente necesitamos que tu también seas parte de esto. Para empezar: Haz click en HQ TV.

Antes de que comience el video chat:

Crea una cuenta en Vokle (o si usas twitter o Facebook, puedes iniciar sesión usando esas credenciales)

Recomendamos que tu conexión a internet sea cableada, no inalámbrica. Esto hará que la conexión sea más fluida.

Asegúrate de que tienes auriculares, y de que tu cámara y micrófonos estén correctamente configurados y funcionando

Ahora tienes que checkear tu configuración.

Esto involucrara los siguientes pasos

Selecciona tu cámara

Selecciona tu micrófono

Como hacer una pregunta durante el chat

Has click en el botón rojo “ASK A QUESTION” a la derecha de la pantalla

Elige que tipo de pregunta quieres hacer

Ahora sigue las instrucciones

Has click en “permitir” cuando salte el cartel sobre adobe flash

Sigue los carteles en pantalla para continuar con los pasos 3 y 4

Conecta tus auriculares y micrófono

Prueba el volumen del micrófono

Posiciona tu cámara

Haz tu pregunta

Ahora estás listo!

Tus preguntas quedaran en lista de espera. Solo tienes que esperar pacientemente.

Si elegimos tu pregunta un moderador se pondrá en contacto contigo.
