RSVPs, Presales, and You
Here at Incubus World Headquarters we are always striving to make things better for the fans. One of the things we've been trying the hardest to get running in a smooth, orderly fashion is the manner in which we announce the presale information. There have been a few bumps along the way but we've put together a new way of announcing the presales which we think will work for everyone.
Going forward we will be using the Tour Section of Incubus WHQ to run the presales. To get access to the Presale codes:
- Go to the tour section and RSVP 'will attend' or 'might attend' to any events you're planning to go to.
- Double-check your settings to make sure you're set up to receive messages from events.
- The day before the presale is going to happen, we will message all members who have RSVP'd to the event with either 'will attend' or 'might attend'. Our message will provide the link to the presale as well as the presale code.
- Just follow the link, input the code, and you're eligible to purchase your tickets as part of the presale.
We think this new method will eliminate the confusion which surrounded the use of the groups. The groups will, of course, remain so fans may continue to communicate and collaborate with one another.
There may be some readjustment of events to make it easier for the management team to do their jobs in the next few days. Those who had already RSVP'd to an event should have received an invite to the new event in their emails already. This should not result in the loss of RSVPs but just to be sure, everyone should keep an eye on their events to make sure that they're correct. Please pardon our dust! It is the result of a labour of love.
Below is a visual guide to how to make sure your settings are correct:
1) Click on the 'Tour' tab on the top navigation bar for Incubus World Headquarters.
2) Click on the name of the event you wish to RSVP for.
3) Click on either 'Will Attend' or "Might Attend"
4) Go directly to your Email settings page, either through this link or via the 'my Settings' tab, then 'Email'.
5) Make sure all three of the highlighted boxes have been checked:

Is there any way the email could be sent again? I just fixed my settings so I missed it.

i set mine to "will attend" weeks ago and when i checked tonight, nothing was checked... so did imiss the email? will the code from the CD preorder work just as well?

For everyone concerned with the JONES BEACH or PNC shows: the HQ presale will be pushed live in appropximately 30 minutes. That is 10:30 PM EST on Wednesday the 15th. I will send out the code and links to these two shows in just a few moments. We apologize for the hiccup in the scheduling on the presales profusely. We promise this was not intentional and we don't want to screw over any of Incubus' fans, regardless of geographical location.

Ok what I do know is that with the presale today, you used the code emailed to you after you preordered the album. I had to email them and let them know that I never received my code and they sent me one. However, I only found out through a friend that the Sony presale was today. Tomorrow's presale is different and there are seats reserved for that...i think. now we just need the codes for that one...hopefully soon??

I hear ya Krystie- classic 'screw the NE' with the Camden/Holmdel/Jones Beach all messed up presale!!! Guess its because we're on the other side of the Country and should be in CA to get the real info!!
