We had a chance to sit down with Mike a few days and asked him to share his thoughts on the making of the new album "If Not Now, When?. This is the 2nd installment of that interview. Enjoy.

The lyrics are a major part of why we all love Incubus, we can relate to them, find encouragement and get through rough patches in our lives due to these intense songs. Let's not forget about the melodies, because lets face it, there is no other band like them out there. I've been waiting for this new album since Light Grenades and cannot wait to see them on tour again. Pre-ordered my album already, July 16, I am waiting for you.

Comment by Ehssan (Ace) Karimi on April 8, 2011 at 11:28am: WOW! To me, they couldn't have picked a more significant date to release the album, my 22nd Birthday! After meeting mike and exchanging messages with Brandon on FB, these guys and their music have really touched me on a more personal level. The new song has an incredibly fresh sound that I love, and this will be the first time that I will go buy their CD the day it comes out, MY BIRTHDAY! Haha, I can't help but think the release date was planned for me, because if I hadn't met MIke in October, everything that's going on now may have never been on my radar. Just another omen that I am on the right path and my compass it pointing to follow Incubus at this time. I look forward to seeing them live in the U.S. this summer...I would love for this experience to come full circle by meeting Mike again at a concert, will there be meet and greets or CD singings this summer?

Comment by Jack Dumale on April 7, 2011 at 2:33am: how he described it as cohesive and similar to Morning View kinda threw me off the excitement that it was gonna be another album that's "all over the place" (which i loved) and nothing like it's predecessors kind of thing

But given the opportunity to look forward to something different still does makes the record a whole lot more anticipated by me though!
