It reminds me a lot of their S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album cover. I'm not sure how I feel about the simplicity, but HEY, anything that they bring out is fine by me just as long as they do!

i dig the waves...its a different cover for incubus. i think we can all agree that their music is great all the way through, and just like a wave ripple, its continuous

Love that photography by Berenice Abbott (1898-1991).
Moreover the waves suits well to the song's radar/sonar effect guitar intro.
Can find an association to the lyrics too with the idea of two adolescents making their waves (thoughts/acts/ideas) spread and join but remaining alone in the eyes of the waves (body/personality/inner voice).

For anyone curious as to what the picture might be of, it appears to be an image from a "double slit" experiment in quantam mechanics. You can read about it here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-slit_experiment, if inclined, and there are some good videos on YouTube that describe the paradox in the experiment's results.
Happy to see Incubus revisiting a little bit of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. in 2011! :)
