Here is the official Press Release from Rock in Rio:
Incubus will be playing at the 7th July, the last day of the festival.
From the band the sapnish audience can expect a massive show that will include its 6th full length studio album, If Not Now, When?, launched after five years of the release of Light Grenades. In the words of Brandon Boyd, Incubus singer/songwriter: Our unabashed, romantic, lush, sonic love letter to the world. It's darker, slower, richer, more refined, and more involved than anything Incubus has birthed to date. Sprinkle into this caldron a dash of whimsy and a pinch of psychedelia, let it stew in the recording studio for a couple of months and you get this: “If Not Now, When?”>>
Incubus has received both critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching multi-platinum sales, as well as releasing several highly successful singles. The band started branching out creatively and earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself. In 2001, Incubus became even more successful with the single Drive and their follow-up album Morning View. Their fifth studio album, Light Grenades, debuted at No. 1 in 2006 and has received Gold certification in the U.S. Incubus released their first greatest hits album Monuments and Melodies in June 2009, accompanied by a tour of the United States, Japan and Canada. The band recently completed a sixth album, If Not Now, When?, which was released on July 12, 2011.
Announcing Incubus, one of the best international bands, confirms that this third Rock in Rio edition in Madrid is going to be an unmissable event for next year.
