Just noticed that Incubus will not be a part of the first two dates of the Honda Civic Tour. Dreams= Crushed.

aaron Not weird at all. A lot of Linkin Park fans are huge fans of Incubus and have been looking forward to this. Chester has stated in the past they would love to tour with Incubus and that was back in the early days of Hybrid Theory/Meteora. They are usually thanked in their albums as artists that influence them, mostly because the drummer Rob used to see Incubus perform back when they started out He went to school with some of the band members of Incubus so not weird at all. It was just a matter of time.

Incubus, Linkin Park, AND Mute Math. Dream come true.

Incubus; enough said. I can't wait to see them again and erase last year's experience - due to the horrible time I had with "friends" and having my tickets refunded.

Mute Math; saw them at the Tabernacle in '09 after Armistice came out and they were great. And have almost gone to their 3 other tours since, but have only listened to their latest album a few times. So...now I can see them again!

I STILL haven't seen Linkin Park live though - I was a huge fan when their first 2 albums came out. I use to listen to them (and only those 2) EVERY single day on the bus ride home back in middle school. I'd listen  to them for motivation also when I'd run. I'm still a fan though, but my tastes changed around '07/'08 and I never checked out 'A Thousand Suns' (I kept telling myself I'd get around to and even buy it, but never did). Alas...I'm really looking forward to it as my tastes are returning to old  favorites. I'm thinking I may pre-order their new CD, so I can have new music to run to and have access to the presale.

OR I may purchase the HQ box set, but I don't think I have $200 to spare for it. And not to complain about Incubus - because I love everything they've been doing within the last couple of years to really connect with their fans (ESPECIALLY THIS SITE) / put so much effort into things they release - BUT I could definitely do without the vinyl in their box set. I feel like if they had a CD option for that part of the set - it would be more affordable for fans. Because I don't own a player and wouldn't want to have to go out and buy one. Plus it's not very practical - as there are very few places in my area to buy vinyls. I'm sure the listening experience is worth it and gives the possession of them a statement of some kind - rather than the all-encompassing transfer of everything into digital and/or pirated music. For some of us underprivileged listeners - CDs are OUR form of vinyl. I know Incubus' intent is probably to make this truly a collectors item, but adding that option would be much appreciated. I might give in and buy it anyways. I really enjoyed having a LIVE Incubus concert for 6 days in a row (even though I missed 1 day) in the COMFORT OF MY OWN ROOM! It was so sick. I had a few beers and just chilled. : )

ANYWAYS...annoying fan-rant over.

I'm so excited to hear you guys are touring North America again - I love living in the United States (sometimes). I will definitely be there.

First the Milwaukee show and now this!? Amazing! But yes I agree....I really hope we get some kind of presale code again for this show through incubusHQ...maybe Lauren will let us know.

My fingers are crossed that there will be a presale code available to Incubus fans! I did indeed take notice that Linkin Park is going to offer presale codes to those whom have a membership to their fanclub, and to those whom pre-order their new album, so it genuinely would be only fair to offer some sort of presale code to Incubus fans as well... Nevertheless, am incredibly stoked and looking forward to this show! August 24th in Chicago!
