Hi, I'm Jorge from Mexico. Incubus is my favorite band and Mike is at the top of my influences as a musician, I love the way he understands music, Ithink is very similar to the way i do.
Id love to be a winner cause i dont want to play exactly like Mike, I want to take everything i can from him and analize it, twist it, transform it and mix it with MY sound. Oh and, yeah! I can be there for the clinic in time.
Thanks

Comment by Judith Schüßler on June 24, 2011 at 1:26pm Hi my name is Daniel Schüßler, 39 years old/young. I'm playing guitar for about 25 years now. Usually I prefer the electric one (No.1: Hohner "the Jack" - headless), but for this session I used the Dobro. Playing with my father in law is always great fun, ... I bet it'll be a great fun to play along with you. That's why I'm applying for the Mike Einziger's Guitar Clinic :) best wishes from Germany, yours Daniel

Comment by Mark Getrost on June 24, 2011 at 9:59am Hello, my name is Mark Getrost. I'm 15 years old, live in Simi Valley, CA, and I'm auditioning for Mike Einziger's guitar clinic.
My passion in life is to write and play music. I started playing drums when I was in 2nd Grade, and picked up guitar when I was in middle school. At the moment, I write songs and james like you see here.
I was first introduced to Incubus when I was 8 years old. My older brother, Kyle, showed me the drum solo in the middle of "Vitamin" on the Alive At Red Rocks DVD, and I was blown away. After seeing that, I watched the DVD over and over again. Since then, I've been to 2 Incubus shows here in LA. The one thing I love most about Incubus is that they have a wide range of music that fits any occasion.
Mike, you're my favorite guitarist. It would be a dream of mine to meet you, and learn from you. The thing I would like to learn most from you is how you use your training in classical music composition and apply it to your rock music. Thank you for the opportunity. Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon!
