End of Week Wrapup
Well its been a very busy week here at the Incubus HQ starting with breakfast in NYC and ending today with a little golf with Chris Kilmore. As I'm sure everyone on the site is aware of by now the band has finished album #6. I was back in NY to play the record for our friends at Sony Music. Its always fun and a little nervewracking to play any new album for the first time, for the band (See Mike talk about being brave) and the manager. But I'm happy to report that the folks at Sony loved it and can't wait to get it out and the record is being mastered today and the whole planning process goes into full motion. Its exciting stuff. You can bet I'll be up especially early on Monday to start putting some real dates on the Incubus calendar.
For those of you interested in our touring plans I can tell you its been a busy week on the phone with our agents and promoter partners around the world. We are very close to announcing dates for the Pacific Rim so if you live in that part of the world you'll want to be sure to checkin next week. For our friends in the US you'll be happy to know that the band will be touring the US this summer.
Its also been exciting to watch how many people are joining the INCUBUS HQ in our little beta phase. Right now we've got a little under 900 folks that have managed to find their way here but I think we should make this party a little bigger. So, take a moment this weekend, go to the INVITE button on the Toolbar at the top and invite some of your friends. Let's see if we can crack the 1000 member mark by Monday! We've got a whole shopping list of ideas we hope to implement here in the coming days and week to make it even better. So stay tuned and have a great weekend.
