Hi, everyone! We've had some great submissions for the Tour Guide contest already, and I want to thank everyone who's participated so far. We appreciate the time and effort put into it.
Going forward, I'd like to change the way the videos are submitted to make it easier for us (especially Renman) to find them. THIS IS IMPORTANT, SO READ CAREFULLY.
- Upload your video to either Incubus HQ or Youtube. If you upload to Incubus HQ, tag it 'tourguide'.
- Include your video link in a comment to this post, and not any other post.
- Your video should be in English and no more than 4 minutes in length.
- CLEARLY STATE both your REAL NAME and the CITY YOU WISH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR in your comment.
- Do not comment with just the link to your video, do not comment to the other threads, do not submit your video for more than one venue.
Bear with us while we try to make this as easy and painless as possible; Ren has asked me specifically to remind everyone that if the above, simple instructions aren't followed, there is "no crying allowed after the fact" if your video gets missed in the shuffle.

We were never giving away Meet and Greet tickets with Cisco. Cisco has around 6 pit tickets (or tickets very close to the stage, for venues without a pit/GA area) that he can upgrade lawn tickets to every night. Usually to get an upgrade you need to go find the tent and either help him out with the camera or answer some trivia questions. He also has a signed vinyl that can be won via trivia contest, and twice now some of the guys in the band have dropped by the tent as a surprise. But no Meet and Greet passes (there never were any there) and there's no guarantee that the band will show up, that is entirely at their whim.

ok cool just wanted to make sure. I assumed Ren was just hard at work with tour things glad to know that he is doing well. @Lauren do you know if they are still giving away meet and greets outside the venue with Cisco? If the tour guide thing falls apart is it still worth it to try and drive to the concert to hopefully receive some passes from him.

It appears that the Penthouse show was the big announcement, I suppose 98.7 has a different definition of 'big' than I do. ;) I have not heard directly from Ren but I know that he is, at least, alive and well and still busting his butt for Incubus.

does anyone know if playing the penthouse was the huge announcement? And also has anyone heard from Ren in the past month, kind of worries me that he hasn't been as involved lately. I hope everything is ok. As for the contest I guess we can only hope that it gets straightened out.

hopefully normalcy would be making it up to the fans that have been involved with incubus since the start of hq and this tour pretty much. I know my wife was pretty disappointed when my video had been the only one entered for boston. she went to mohegan sun alone a 5 hour drive. we made the trip for vevo. it just seems so crazy that everything went down like this especially everyone that participates on this website are true incubus fans and really are into the band and the music. Im not sure what the announcement will be but again i hope that it will be some sort of resolution for the fans who spent their time and energy and money in hopes of meeting the band, instead of oh well, im sorry. Incubus is a great band and i think they are unique and helpful with the charities. I just hope it doesn’t end up like the vevo thing, cancelled and never really spoke about or made up for. with that said i heard ren is missing in action and i hope he is ok. meanwhile thanks lauren and cisco keep up the good work.
