I'm very sorry to have to announce that tomorrow's show in Vienna has also been cancelled. Here is the band's message for you all:

We regret to inform our fans that Wednesday’s show in Vienna will be cancelled as Brandon Boyd is battling a case of laryngitis.  Tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase beginning Wednesday morning.   Thanks for hanging in there with us and we hope to see you all soon!

Well, when they gave another date for Zurich I went again, made a ton of friends got to meet the band and even got backstage so it made up for it. Who knows, maybe something similar will happen for Vienna :)

Augh! What rotten luck!

Funny thing, the first time I was supposed to see them was in Zurich 4 years ago, and it also got cancelled the night before because of Mikey's wrist. Haha.

Yeah, i totally understand, Lauren.

I guess it would just somehow "relieve" peeps to know Steve is thinking of us *g*

I totally understand. I'd be super bummed out too. This almost happened to me the first time I saw them too; I went to two concerts in their US theatre tour in 07 and Brandon got sick; they ended up cancelling several concerts right after the ones I attended. When that happened, they made up the dates with an arena tour on the second US Leg of that tour. I'm sure also that the band is really bummed themselves that they have to cancel. Keep your chin up; I can't promise a make-up date but I don't know that it's entirely out of the realm of possibility otherwise. I would just rely on, if it happens, it will happen after the South American leg and possibly after the second US Leg.

No, you misunderstood me. I was sick last week and worried about not getting well enough to be able to go, so I totally understand how bad to be ill is. But you (and the band) can understand the other side, too. (which I'm sure you all do) I would have gone to Vienna from another country, would have been th first time seeing them, so... :) :(

Yeah, I agree. We are all disappointed of course, but anger is definitely the wrong emotion.

It is my personal opinion (and thus not an official statement) that it is possible those fans who are angry at Brandon for getting sick should really examine that emotion. It's not like the guys cancelled just because they felt like it. It isn't personal.

Agree with Verena, at least that would give us a little hope instead of anger.
