Wow. What a week! Things are starting to pick up pace now. I'm looking back at the calendar for the week making sure I did not miss something because its all been a blur. Meetings with the label, meetings with concert promoters, meetings with movie studio music supervisors, and even a couple of big radio programmers. Everybody wants to know what's the freakin plan Ren? When is the release date. What about the first single"? When can I hear it? I need the band here, I need them there. I can…Continue
One of the final pieces of this site has come together...it now has its very own proper domain name - www.incubushq.com
So, when you're inviting friends to the site, or tweeting about it etc, you can now direct them to www.incubushq.com
I've added a few more things to the site and the top navigation started to get a bit crowded, so I created some sub-categories.
You can now find HQ TV, pictures, and videos under the category called "Media" in the top nav. I think the term "media" adequately describes all that stuff, but if you think there is a better name let me know (leave a comment below).
We're planning on taking 'chat' off the front page and moving it to "Connect." …
Hey guys - in case you missed our inaugural live web-chat with DJ Kilmore last Friday, you're in luck. We managed to record the entire broadcast (with the exception of the first few minutes due to a technical problem - darn that record button) so everyone has a chance to see it. Click the video below, and please feel free to copy the embed code from the video and repost it ALL OVER THE WEB - facebook, twitter, tumblr, huffpost.... EVERYWHERE! Let's get all the latest news & excitement…Continue
Well its been another busy week in the Incubus world. For those of you who are interested in every detail of the recording process, the new album was mastered this week in the NY area and the final sequence of songs is now set. The band have started to work on artwork and album packaging ideas. Typically, these are the things that take some time and have a huge impact on release dates and the like. The first of many conversations have started between management and the label to develop a…Continue
Incubus have just finished recording their brand-new album, and singer Brandon Boyd says he can't wait for fans to hear the Brendan O'Brien-produced disc. "I think it's really gonna appeal to the people who've been following us a long time. It's…Continue
Well its been a very busy week here at the Incubus HQ starting with breakfast in NYC and ending today with a little golf with Chris Kilmore. As I'm sure everyone on the site is aware of by now the band has finished album #6. I was back in NY to play the record for our friends at Sony Music. Its always fun and a little nervewracking to play any new album for the first time, for the band (See Mike talk about being brave) and the manager. But I'm happy to report that the folks at Sony loved it…Continue
In addition to Facebook, you can now log into Incubus WHQ using your Twitter user and pass. Have fun!

Not sure about you all....but when Renman and Joe and I are logged in to the site and are chatting in the chatbox, the office is ringing with constant BEEPING sounds! That's because the chatbox itself beeps every time there is a new message. I showed Renman how to mute the chat, and now I'll show you. Look at the picture below and you'll see the volume control in the chatbox. Click it and you can lower the volume.
Steve came to the chat box to tell us the news, he came up with the idea of discussing how the new album should be released, it was a little bit messy because of the several languages spoken at the moment, and (including me) too many questions asked at the same time. Anyway, Steve managed to answer the ones that did matter, I think.
In my opinion there is a lot of things still to discuss from the conversation we had and I still think we can be more helpful than we tried to be…Continue
So here we are again, another year for one of the best musicians i know. Ben Kenney. He is someone really admirable and cool. He has show us (or at least showed me) that he is worthy to be in such a wonderful band, he has been a real plus to the kind of music that the band has made the later years and even out of incubus he shines as a diamond, his last work Burn the tapes its really great has some sick bass tunes and awesome songs like "World's Collide" music that make us teleport to other…Continue
