Just hearing the phrase "Morning View" sends my heart aflutter.

Right away, I don't attach the name to the physical product it represents.

Instead, I picture time. This magic that I cannot taint, but only depict as I see.

Really, sometimes I think this era only exists in my head---like the record was released but everything I associate it with is just false.

Then again, I do know there's no such thing as false perfection.

Although I should be asleep, I'm thinking about this past Thanksgiving and how wonderful it was to have nearly the whole family together, sharing a meal. The scenic drive, the music blaring, autumn blowing in but summer still hanging on, the anticipation of seeing everyone again - all gave me a glorious feeling of acceptance & love. I've taken to volunteering at the local animal shelter. After the tour today, I was stunned and saddened at the state of our local shelters. The amount of homes needed for animals is overwhelming. This is just a reminder to this great, good community to do the right thing and spay/neuter your pets.
