Yeah I was planning on sightseeing alone, since my friend would be working on the weekdays. I plan to cover every nook and cranny, including Batu Caves. We could visit some together.

I didn't preorder the album :P I had downloaded when it leaked and didn't have a credit card. Then got lazy. Will buy from KL now. Won't be available in India for sure.

There are cultural, nature based, theme park based, hill station based trips! Apart from these I foresee a lot of shopping based days :P

I have a friend in KL so will be crashing there. So far I have figured out the visa procedure and ticket stuff. I'm confused too about how many days to spend there considering I want to make it a concert+long overdue vacation. Will probably book my tickets tomorrow and visa thereafter.

I have to thank you though. I have no clue why I did not consider traveling till I saw your post here!
