Jelger said… I didn't think you were 16 to be honest, so take that as a compliment :)
I've only been able to see them once, at Pinkpop Festival 2008, where they subheadlined before Metallica. And the second time is going to be june, again at a festival unfortunately. Hoping to see them at a headline concert. I bet you will be blown away when you finally see them in Australia :D
Jelger said… They are no Foo Fighters, so to say. In festivalterms I think they would be subheadliners on the Dutch festivals. They have a solid fanbase, but are not out there scoring big radiohits and such. I hardly listen to the radio, but my brother listened to the alternative radiostations in the Netherlands and he told me every once in a while that he heard an Incubus-song, mostly Are You In? surprislingly enough.
They did play the biggest regular venue in The Netherlands in 2004 (Ahoy, Rotterdam, capacity 17.000), but in 2007 they played a much smaller venue (Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam capacity 5.500). I'm guessing they would play the venue in Amsterdam if they come over again, unless one of the singles gets huges here.
How is it in Australia? Lots more people to be a fan :)
Jelger said… Haha, I guess my name is one you don't see very often. :)
I do exactly the same thing. I joined the chat once or twice, especially on the night of the leak, but besides that I don't check the site too often. Most of the important news finds its way to me somehow. :)
Jelger said… I guess it's not surprising that we are both here, seeing as we're big fans, but yeah finding eachother out of 14.000 (?) members is a different story.
I don't spend much time here though, to be honest.
