I've got Jazz & Classical roots, and am a trained musician of over 20 years. Other than Incubus, other fave musicians, composers & bands are (in no particular order): Yes, Tool, Tori Amos, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bach, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Debussy, Estradasphere, Secret Chiefs 3, DMB, Rush, Alice In Chains, & Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Seen Incubus 5 times, all with my bro who also loves these guys as much as me.  I own every album except Monuments & Melodies, because the ONE song EVER that didn't excite me was Black Heart Inertia.  I actually was afraid that songs like that and Love Hurts were going to be they're "new sound." But have been pleasantly proved wrong with "Adolescents".  It almost felt "ACLotM", which made me very happy.

Favorite Incubus songs: The Warmth, Pardon Me, Crowded Elevator, Punch Drunk, Nebula, Deep Inside, Summer Romance, Nice to Know You, Under My Umbrella, Aqueous Transmission, Sick Sad Little World, A Crow Left...,Quicksand, Dig & Pendulous Threads. I also love the Big Pun cover "Still not a player" they did years ago.

If I hadn't become a musician and teacher, I would have been a linguist. Fluent in French, and can get around with my Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. Would love to learn Japanese.

My fiance also loves Incubus, and Dig will be our wedding song when we get married in July. ;-)
