5:30am Dawn Surf Patrol. Captree State Park, Long Island.
My special Incubus spot is at any beach or surfbreak. Navigating through broken shells in the parking lot, taking first step from the paving into the cold morning sand, to climb the dune to get a first glimpse of the surf. The first rush of water surrounding you as you paddle out into the line up... the excitement of the first drop onto the face of a wave... the rush of the ride and the calm after as you paddle back out to the lineup. All these experiences make you feel so connected to the world and alive. These are the same feelings I get when I listen to Incubus. Any beach, anywhere, Incubus all the time.

I do wish you ALL were here.... and always live life 'paddling with intention'.
