Wowza! This gig rocked London's socks off - the setlist was mixed up with old and new songs alike. I was perturbed that 'Ally Pally' was chosen to set the scene though as there are smaller more intimate venues in London which I would have preferred such as Koko or Hammersmith Odeon (ahem apollo) which would suit better. However, if Ally Pally is good enough for Led Zeppelin then it is good enough for Incubus.
The vibe was great apart from some people in the crowd who thought they were at the ballet instead of a gig! Some people have knocked the new album 'If not now when' but then bands do move on, mature mentally and spritually and it can be quite boring sticking to what you know best...so grow up and get with it!
Others too have ranted about the background not running properly and Brandon not cavorting himself around the stage but I didn't mind it's all about the music. I just wish we could have had two gigs in London and on a personal tip would have liked the gig to end with 'nice to know you' because that would have made me laugh but again it's just my personal preference. I leave you with a little wisdom "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain."—Bob Marley
Oh and one more thing If not now when are you coming back to London?
big love Incubus!
