I generally have a problem with this contest. Because it's not really fair. There are no equal chances for all fans here in germany, because not everybody lives in berlin or in a city close to it. Here are people from the southern part of germany, I am from originally from düsseldorf, and live just close to it. To have the opportunity, to participate in the competion, I would have to travel 450 kilometers to Berlin (where I lived a few years ago, and move back next years) to tape a video of berlin or a city close to it. But people have jobs, and other stuff to do. And since my past (fan since 1998), till today I spend a lot of money to travel (flights, tickets, hotels etc.) to shows of the band, buying vip-packages, merchandise and much more. I have done crazy things for this band, but right now I'm not in the situation ('cause of time) to go to berlin, only for filming this video...then back home....and at the 17th back again to see the concert...and all this is not for free, you know what I mean....it has it's costs

 

So I really have to ask this question?? Is it right and fair to give those chance only people that live in berlin??? I think it's not very fair. Sorry for being open, but that's what it is for me

Das mit Berlin war nur ein Beispiel. So wie ich Steve verstanden habe ist das auf die Welttournee bezogen! Also wird es mehrere Städte zur Auswahl geben, was die Chancen wiederum erhöht.

Naja, ich habe verstanden, dass es für Berlin und London sein soll. Und es bleibt trotzdem ungerecht. Gilt ja immer nur für die Stadt, wo das Konzert ist...und jetzt aktuell ist nur das in Berlin. Und soviele sind hier nicht, die in Berlin wohnen, also haben eben nur die Chance, die in B. wohnen...schon mies für alle Anderen

Ich denke auch, dass sie die Pläne evtl. nochmal ändern werden. Aber das war eben Steve´s Aussage und ist für Berlin bisher auf jeden Fall gültig. Andere Daten sind ja sowieso noch nicht bekannt.

I also agree with Charlotte!
and not only for the show in Berlin, but in general for the world tour.
I live in Italy, in a small country and far from the places where they make the big concerts.
So I'll never have the opportunity to participate in competitions :-((

I really don´t think only mof myself with mentioning this. My City here is near to cologne, düsseldorf and the ruhr area...so I could geht there, if they would play in those bigger cities. But what about the people that live in cities that are farer away from big cities?? They already have to go to concerts, where they have to travel with train or plane, or they go hours by car :-(

 

Those people also want to have the chance to get free tix or passes! This whole thing feels like, people get kind of "punished" when they live in smaller areas.

 

Some other thing I would like to know, I have a really good friend in Austria, and she would like to know if Incubus will ever play in Austria this tour? Last tour the fans from austria travelled a long distances to munich to see a concert

I wrote Ren a mail, maybe there will be something changed for this thing, would be nice. If not, only 7 or 8 people here have the chance to win (can be the winner)...what a contest^^ Kind of a "punishment" for don't  living in Berlin :o LOL

I also wrot ren, let´s see what happens... maybe someone could ask him in the morning briefings tomorrow.... I´m not able to take part because I´m in university.....

mein englisch is zwar nich schlecht aber irgendwie verwirrt er mich mit seiner schreibweise.... was möchte er nun???
