I remember my sister who is three years older bought the Make Yourself album after hearing Drive. I think I was about 14 and she was driving me home from school and after hearing The Warmth and Make Yourself, I seriously felt changed as a person. I stopped caring what other people thought and just tried to be the best version of me, and ended up making so many friends and great acquaintances. I bought every single record they put out and have been a devoted fan ever since. All of their music seriously helped shape me as a person during my young days, I'm so glad & grateful! Total incubus NERD. don't judge me. ;) xx

I was about 15 or 16 when my friend introduced me to the Make Yourself and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. albums. I fell in love immediately. I started researching, watching music videos, absorbing all things Incubus. I saw them in concert not long after, and it was the best concert of my life. Seeing them perform was addicting. I've seen them 4 more times since that first show. I have so many memories attached to Incubus' music. It has been the soundtrack to my high school and college years. Break-ups, relationships, and growing up trials and tribulations have all had an associated Incubus theme. They have gotten me through some tough, and sometimes very happy, times. I love the guys. I love their passion for their craft. I love how, with each new album, they grow and change and experiment with different sounds and styles. I still listen to them daily, and I'm so excited to add the new album to the rotation.

It also doesn't hurt that Brandon Boyd is probably the most gorgeous man on the planet. And, with the addition of Ben Kenney, I am now convinced that they are the sexiest band in existence, as well as the most talented. ;-)

GAH!! I ONE MILLION PERCENT AGREE with everything you just said <3 xx
I heard When it Comes and needed to hear MORE!

I was 17 when my best friend lent me "Morning View"...I listen this album during all the night !!!!

The following day I bought all Incubus albums that I can find in my little town ! (I don't have Internet at this time!)

but I've never see them in concert...and I look forward for the European tour for If Not Now When ?....

(sorry for the english !)

I first knew Incubus when I saw the video of "Drive" in 2001 on Mtv (like many of us), when I was 11, and that song caught my attention, and that singer with those strange "buttons" in his ears (I didn't even know what gauges were). The same year, I saw "wish you Were Here" video during the summertime.

Then in 2002 Mtv brought to me "Are you in?" video, and that song had a really catchy riff.

But I actually fell in love with Incubus the 25th November 2005 (my mother's birthday xD), when I was ill, so I didn't go to school for a while, and I remebered about that interesting group with the singer with those strange "buttons" in his ears; so I searched for that video/song on Youtube, and we all know that it gets you hooked on everything. From that moment on I started loving them, and I'm still not tired about doing it.

I think I fell in love during the morning view era. During that time they were like all over mtv and I was loving it, Cribs, Morning View Session, Diary and I fell kinda head over hills.  And yes, I do have a serious fangirl crush on Mike.

I was the same too !!!! lol I don't like this but on Brandon it's really cool...

Yeah! He's still cool, even if he doesn't wear that "buttons" anymore x3

I remember all of that! MTV showcased Incubus quite a bit during the Morning View days. I remember the cribs episode that they did inside the house where they recorded Morning View. And Diary, too. I'll never get sick of watching my Morning View Sessions DVD, lol. Surprised I haven't worn the thing out by now. And I feel you, lol, I have the most outrageous fangirl crush on Ben.

I feel so weird saying I was 8 years old when I first discovered Incubus, since everyone was around 15/16! Haha, but my best friend's older brother always loved Incubus, and as an early birthday present gave me "Make Yourself", and it was an instant obsession, maintained over the years. For me, no one comes close to Incubus. They write the most beautiful, the most meaningful, and the most relatable lyrics  than any other artist out there. I can honestly say, that their music means more than anything in the world to me, and has been there for me in EVERY situation in my life, the good and the bad.  And for that, I could never say thank you enough!! (:
I like the alternative music in the '90s beginning with the likes of Cranberries, Garbage, Blur, Alanis Morisette then came Incubus in the late '90s and I'm like oh..another wannabes, I was totally wrong. The band that I thought I wouldn't like is the band that I came to super love, how Ironic. The first video that struck me was their performance for Nice to Know you and I super like the way Brandon shouts at the end. So I would always look for their Music videos on MTV. My brother has a compilation of alternative songs, one of them was Incubus' DRIVE and I would listen to that song over and over again. After that life caught up with me and I was busy with other things. In 2006, I started watching youtube and particularly searched for Incubus, I realized INCUBUS perform better live unlike other bands and that Brandon's voice don't fade and the other members skills don't as well, so when they tour for the second time in MANILA, Philippines in 2008,my first time to see them, I was like I have to be there front row, unfortunately, the first 10 rows are not available to sell to ordinary people like me, so I was at the 11th row and I had a BLAST. They're my favorite. DJ Kilmore even sent me an email in 2008 on his myspace page after I comment that I'm gonna be seeing them in their upcoming concert in Manila, How super sweet. And I would really LOVE to meet my favorite band in person, hopefully soon. I'm too shy to stalk them at the hotel whenever they were touring in my home country plus the security was always strict, but I know I'm getting there =D.
