Okay I need some help. I would love if Mike or his tech saw this and answered some questions about the 535q. I actually don't even know if Mike's is a q or just an older 535 wah. Anyways, I have come to realize that this bastard is a tone sucker even when not being engaged. Now I've done some research and apparently there are two bigger resistors, one on the input jack and one on the output jack, that are suppose to help with popping noises from DC burst from pedals next to the wah...blah blah blah. Point being is that the info I found, on Dunlop's website nevertheless (go to their website and check out their couple of blogs on true bypass), says to remove these two resistors and it would fix the tone suck on this thing and make it true bypass. Well, the newest revision of the PCB inside the 535q already has these resistors removed. I took mine apart and found out that mine is the newer revision and doesn't even have the resistors but I am still getting serious tone suck from this bastonian. I don't know if its even possible to put a 3PDT switch in this thing because the 2PDT that's in there now is soldered to a circuit board that is connected to the main board with a wire ribbon instead of just straight up wires. Any suggestions? I know I could just put the wah on it's own true bypass circuit, maybe something from loop-master, but I kinda don't want to do that. I really want my 535q to be a true bypass and not this hardwired bypass stuff dunlop is trying to pull. Any help or questions...or really anything would be appreciated. Lets talk some gear. I'll post some pics of my pedal board if I can get a good discussion going here.
