Why does Incubus punish fans who pre-order early???

The release of the deluxe iTunes version of INNW?, as well as the previously announced Shirt/Litho pack really makes me wonder if the band cares about their hardcore fanbase.

Those of us (in this instance, a passionate and supportive fan for 12 years) who pre-ordered early from Sony get shit on again, per usual with any sort of Incubus release. Well unless you live in Japan.

Renman what gives??

Like most of us more attached fans I pre-ordered from this site, won't receive my CD today, and am "screwed" out of bonus tracks such as Rebel Girls and behind the scenes videos. I know Rennie and Co. still appreciate us fully I just don't think they consider optimizing benefits of being a "hardcore" fan...

just got my cd and no code or anything for surface to air. did we all miss something? were we suppose to get the fuckin album on vinyl instead of disc???? cuz it seems surface to air comes with vinyl copy. lame.

yeah man i feel ya. i wish i would have gotten more freebies, and probably would have waited had i known...but i also agree with those who say whatever man chill out, because honestly this cd is so so so perfect on its own.

for the record, who knows when that surface to air track will be sent to those of us who were promised it?

I picked up my copy from Best Buy today, and it had 3 additional tracks. Surface To Air, Dig, and Pardon me. All live. It did say "Best Buy Exclusive", but I'm wondering how "exclusive" it really is. It doesn't have Rebel Girls or the other extras on it though..... I'm guessing we'll see a deluxe album released later. Either way I'm freaking pumped. It's been on repeat since I got it home.

I just rec'd a free download of the whole album plus Surface to Air!! I bought mine from the Incubus Store, and they just added this freebie! I'm jazzed!!! So, don't be haters ppl who feel cheated! Either you're a fan or you're not! Isn't that why you're here? ;)

I pre-ordered from the incubus store. I got my album in the mail the day it was released and I got an email with links to also download the whole album and Surface to Air.
