Ways to improve video chat?
Discuss and recommend to eachother how you guys can be prepared for when Ren calls you on Skype. And add other thoughts.

These are notes from the first chat with Kilmore:
So there was a pretty good turnout for our first video chat today. Kilmore dropped by for an interview, as did a mysterious viewer we later identified as Ben Kenney ;)
What can do better next time? Let us know.
For starters, we are going to send a tweet to the IncubusBand Twitter account when the video chat starts next time.

the audio was not in sync with the video, but that was probably connection problems i guess

Was really great...
In the first 10 min I couldn't understand almost nothing.. the echo was big.. then (I don't know what they did) the echo has gone.

It's a good idea to use the ustream chat instead the ning chat when broadcasting, it allows you to slow it down, moderate and pause it (and it doesn't have a beep)
You guys did great being the first time !

I thought you guys did an excellent job. Close to no technical difficulties and time management was superb. I suspected there would likely be a slight delay when having the Ustream up and Skype at the same time, so I guess make sure to remind fans that's expected to happen and to shut off the Ustream while they're getting Skyped (don't think anything can be done about delay).
Personally, I think the only thing that needs to happen is there should be a separate chat room for fans that want to speak in Spanish. I say this as a Latin American fan myself.

You are right to silence the ustream, in the morning when Steve Test my User , I did not mute the ustream and had a tremendous echo in addition to delay, so I mute the ustream during the chat and it was perfect

Hi Jake, well the chat went well except for my lagging connection which I blame on both our service provider and my computer. But from what I've seen during the interview, everything went smoothly. It was a bit tough, on my personal note, to interact via chat and post reactions especially when someone like Kil is talking and I don't wanna risk the divided focus. lol
What you've guys done so far for the IWHQ video stream and chat is amazing. Congrats for that.
Recommendation... Hmmm... Not that there's anything I could think of for now... But I have a question though, is there like a buffer in the chat room? Coz in cases like this, the chat may get flooded when everyone simultaneously posts their reactions, queries, etc and maybe some significant reactions/questions may not be read immediately coz of the buffer thing. Just wondering. :)

I think the vidchat went amazing, but I have to wonder like others have noted if there is any way to moderate what's going on in the chat room at all. I know that it was going so fast and filled mostly with irrelated chatter that Renman was having trouble reading the actual questions. I can see how that might have gotten super frustrating for people who were coming up with questions on the spot and hadn't thought to add them to the forum discussion.

Before the next videochat, the screen of HQTV and the chat room should be together so we can see and write at the same time (specially for those who don't have a webcam and want their question to get picked, or even if you want to add something to what ben o whoever is on, is saying.
