The tour is coming up friends and hopefully there will be a lot of talking and writing about the soon to be released Album If not now, when?. This thread is meant to collect all the links worldwide where Anything Incubus has been covered the past weeks and will be covered in the future.
Not only is it interesting to see how different the views are culturally and between nations, but also how the media landscape will change in time.
So, let's start an archive for every one to access and read whenever wanted.
Plenty of people have rock ’n’ roll dreams, but many fewer actually dream up rock songs: Paul McCartney is said to have dreamt the arrangement for “Yesterday,” and Keith Richards woke up from a dream long enough to record the guitar riff to “Satisfaction” before going back to sleep. Add Brandon Boyd to the list.
The Incubus frontman is readying a new LP as Sons of the Sea, and he says the song “Jet Black Crow,” premiering today on Speakeasy, wafted up from his subconscious.
“I was having very vivid dreams about this melody, and I was singing it in front of an audience of people,” Boyd told Speakeasy about the song, a sweeping pop-rock tune built around sturdy guitar and an effervescent melody. “I didn’t know where it was coming from, but I knew I had to remember it.”
He got it down on his iPhone and later fleshed it out with producer Brendan O’Brien, who has worked with Incubus, Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, among others. O’Brien was a key collaborator on “Sons of the Sea,” helping Boyd realize his musical vision in a way the singer had never worked before — as a full-fledged songwriter, rather than as a lyricist who had in the past served, in Boyd’s words, as a kind of “interior decorator” of songs.
“So much of this process for me has already been so rewarding, just the novelty in it, I almost feel like I’m cutting new neural pathways and learning about music in new ways,” Boyd said with a laugh.
Sons of the Sea’s self-titled album will go on sale Sept. 24 from Avow Records, and is available for pre-orderhere. What do you think of the song? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Incubus’ founding members Dirk Lance and Jose Pasillas II, along with former Pharcyde MC Slimkid3 and Jurassic 5’s DJ Nu-Mark, have released a new song and music video titled "Picture Perfect Phantasy" inspired by Ubisoft’s ‘Rayman Legends’ video game (available today).
Performing under the name '4 Player Co-Op', the artists bring together a unique blend of funk, rock and hip-hop to create a song that is quirky and fun - much like the game itself. This collaboration also marks the first time that Lance and Pasillas have recorded together since Incubus’ 2001 multi-platinum release ‘Morning View’.

Sometimes I wish I'd live in California...
Well, I live in California Magalie, and it's still too far away from me :( Most times I wish I lived in LA....
Yes I always forgot that Cali is probably bigger than France ;) You live in the North?
Haha, it is very big that's for sure! I wish I lived in the north, I live right smack in the middle :( I miss the fun things in the north and the south....Speaking of France, I know Ben will miss there on his tour, I was hoping he'd make it, will you go somewhere else to see him Magalie?
So you are far from San Francisco and far from LA? I'm trying to go to Manchester or Nottingham to see Ben or maybe Italy, I still need to check the best options.
Oh fun! Very far from LA, about 6 hours one way. Not too far from San Francisco, about 2 hours, but it is a very hard drive. Oh YAY Magalie! I hope you can make it, that would be so much fun :) I'd love to see pictures and hear about it if you make it to a show, please!
No problem if I make it I'll take pictures and a few vids and let you know
