Hello! If you're new, welcome to the Incubus World Headquarters, your one-stop shop for everything related to the greatest, most generous band on the planet. The site is wide, wonderous, and fulfilling but it can be a little daunting for a newcomer, especially as our numbers have grown so large lately. So here is a quick guide to show you around the Site, acquaint you the Site's Guidelines, and help you get the most out of your Incubus experience here at HQ. If you have questions about the HQ guidelines or how to navigate, please ask them on the Site Improvement forum; comments to this guide should be kept to translations only, please.

What To Do:

Groups:

Join a Group. Local groups on Incubus WHQ can be found at both the country and the city level. The local groups will be the first to hear about ticket promotions in specific areas, and also the means by which the band's team will contact fans about any and all local contests and events. Being in your local group is the only way to ensure that you're connected to the content you want the most, so if there doesn't exist a group for your country or city, please create one.

Invitations:

Invite your friends. The Incubus World Headquarters is an ever-growing community with a great spirit, and we'd love to share that spirit with other fans around the world who appreciate Incubus and their music. The more the merrier, and we are always looking for our family to grow!

Forums:

The Forums are the place to go for up-to-date information on the band's activities and efforts with the upcoming album and beyond. The Breaking News thread is as to-the-minute with live information from the chat as possible. The Forums are open to everyone, so jump in with both feet and let your voice be heard. Fans may be particularly interested in helping the band with merchandising decisions or discussing other bands, and fans outside of the US can help Renman out by giving Airplay Reports. The Forums are also where you will find topics dedicated to leaving questions to ask the band members during any upcoming video chats.

Updates:

Keep an eye out for activity from Steve Rennie. The Renman is the band's Manager of many years and one sincerely awesome guy. He's a slick one who likes to put up things seemingly at random on HQ TV, so you never do know what you're going to get when Ren's around. You just know it's always going to be awesome. Also keep an eye out for activity from Jake Versluis and Joltin' Joe: they both work in the office with Renman and content from them is about as official as it can get.

Chat:

Stay connected with the Incubus WHQ chatroom, where both Renman and our very own Mike Einziger (yes, the real one) have been known to drop by regularly to interact and chat with fans. Chatroom sounds can be turned off by turning the volume slider next to the smiley face all the way down. The Chatroom appears in a bar at the bottom of every window that is opened on HQ so the volume will have to be muted on every tab. Incubus Mobile:

Take Incubus on the road with you with the HQ Mobile apps. The app has been released for Android and iPhone, and remains the best way to take news about Incubus with you while you are away from home.

Morning Briefings:

Attend the Morning Briefings with Renman. At 6:00am PST damn near every morning, Steve Rennie fires up the HQTV and after epic rock selections from his playlist, he gives us the rundown for the day. You can attend by making sure you are both streaming the HQTV feed and logged into the chatroom. If you cannot make the Morning Briefings due to time zone issues, leave your questions for Renman here. Check here for the World Clock if you aren't sure what time 6am PST is for you.

Events:

Watch the Events Board for information on the If Not Now, When? tour; sometimes dates appear here 'magically' before they are officially announced.

What Not To Do:

We are all here to express our love for this incredible band which has touched our lives in many different ways. As Renman himself says, HQ has one rule: "No assholes allowed." It isn't hard to treat people with courtesy and respect even on the internet. Here are a few key things to avoid in order to maintain the harmonous, encouraging environment that we want to perpetuate here at Incubus World Headquarters. Violation of these guidelines will result in discplinary action from the moderators of the site.

• Do not flame, harrass, or otherwise say hurtful things to other members of Incubus World Headquarters.
• Do not upload pictures of a sexual or violently graphic nature.
• Do not impersonate members of INCUBUS or discuss the band members' personal lives.
• Do not solicit other members of Incubus World Headquarters for money.
• Do not spam the forums or chat room.
• Do not upload photos, videos, or other content that are wholly unrelated to INCUBUS.
• Do not link to illegal music files, whether that of INCUBUS or of other bands.

Most importantly, get involved, but be polite. Communicate with other fans around the world, the management team, and the band itself. Become part of the Incubus family, we're so glad to have you here.
