so i know we dont have set dates. but i live in jersey and i am super stoked for this tour at the end of the summer.
i was thinking. i know people try to do this a lot. but depending on the venue. ideally PNC, i think we should all get together. meet up in the lot or something. theres nothing better than sharing a time like an incubus concert with people who love them as much as you.
i will TOTALLY take the responsibility on myself to coordinate. but please. post, and let me know if you are someone who thinks this is a good idea/has suggestions for what we can do.

Permalink Reply by Derek on May 1, 2011 at 8:08pm Glad I stumbled upon this thread, it's always awesome to find enthusiastic Incubus fans from the tri-state area. Thanks for getting it started Rich. When it comes to tailgating at PNC I was also under the impression that it was no longer permitted, despite this I came prepared when 311 rolled into PNC last summer and met no opposition from the police, event staff, etc. I've found that the parking lot closest to the parkway on the northbound side is the most relaxed and (in general) permissive of tailgating, so that's where I'll be. If I had just two requests for the show they would be 11 Am as it has always resonated with me and Dig, specifically the orchestral-backed version they played in Chile' (it sounded so amazing). Can't wait for the dates to be announced! Incidentally, my default photo was taken at PNC when they played Aqueous Transmission to end their set. I'm sure this thread will pick up when dates are announced.
Cheers Man
Permalink Reply by Rich Striffolino on May 3, 2011 at 9:24am thanks for the kudos and the reply. yes, i know pnc is kind of strict. so maybe even if we meet up elsewhere, or just get together to tailgate, we may just have to keep the alcohol to a minimum. i usually pregame before anyways, so worst case scenario, ill still enjoy myself being around a ton of friends and fellow fans. also, i usually get tickets for the lawn at pnc. just because i usually have a large group with me, its easier, and the view is actually quite nice. plus during this time of year that they will be playing, its nice to be out from under...ahhh see what i did there? haha
either way. please guys dont forget about the thread once the dates pop up. and i am more than willing to share my phone number, email, whatever the case. even facebook... i would love to meet new friends that share something so crucial to me in common with me. have a wonderful and safe rest of the week all. and talk to you all soon!

Permalink Reply by Rich Striffolino on May 10, 2011 at 9:56am barring the tour dates. i have a bbq at my house around the same time as when they should be touring. even if it isnt...im thinking. why not have a bbq full of incubusfans. so what i MAY be doing is inviting a ton of ppl i dont really know besides knowing they enjoy this band as much as i do...and maybe we can even use this as a way to get to know faces, so when the shows do come around, we can all feel like one big happy family!
let me know guys. im trying to keep us motivated here. please i welcome suggestions too!

Permalink Reply by Cynthia Katz on May 10, 2011 at 7:32pm This sounds so good! A private Incubus party, where nobody asks you to change the song haha. How great is that! :D
That's what I was trying to tell you when I said to meet before concert day, I meant, days before. So we can know faces, as you said. I will be new to the city, so I could use new buddies, and even better if they're Incubuddies!
Rich, you know you have my help, I'm adding you in Facebook so we can plan everything. 3 or 4 months for the shows and I'm so motivated and anxious. Can't wait!!!
