"Invite Only Performances by Incubus" at HQLive -How To Qualify

Incubus is planning a week of events here in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of their new album "If Not Now, When?". And all kinds of things are going to be happening, from chats with the band, musician's clinics, behind the scenes look at the tour prep, and most of all some very special performances from the band from June 30-July 6...Six performances in all and all of it is going to be broadcast live on the internet. But for a lucky few, you can be part of the live in studio audience. Only 75 people can attend each performance so these invites will be highly in demand. Tickets are not being sold for these events. Its invite only and we can't figure out who to invite. That's where you come in. Give us some ideas of how we can pick the list. Think out of the box and think about how we can give everybody who'd like to be there a fair shot. Think about how we can involve fans not just from LA but also Incubus fans in the US and internationally as well. We will be keeping an eye out for great ideas and look forward to seeing the most deserving fans sitting on the couch that week.

I was certain that I signed up for Thursday June 30th @ 1pm ... I even wrote it in my planner...

But when I started noticing that people were receiving reminder emails and I wasn't I checked back on Schedulicity and it has no evidence of my account and more importantly the fact that I signed up!

I'm so sad! I won't be able to make it to any of Incubus' concerts this tour either because I'll be moving to another country at the most unideal time.

I booked a spot for saturday July 2nd @ 5pm. Schedulicity still shows me that appointment, but I haven't got a reminder yet. I do hope that's still on. :/

Same here, I checked early and it does show my date on the 6th @ 10am as being in my appointments. Even though I know where HQ is, I wonder when they will send out location information?

Yes it seems to be a weird website, I hope that everyone who did sign up early before everything showed FULL gets a confirmation on their time and can still get our dream hour!!

I just checked and it is still showing all the dates, it just says they are all full including the 4th of July. Nothing says canceled as of yet. I'd just wait to get an email of official announcement before getting too worried about it. :)

I think it should be totally random selections. That way you have a mix of hard core Incubus fans that have been following devoutly and then the long time fans that have strayed a little due to life's personal priorities but love the band and the music just as much.

Since you are doing this as a way to promote your upcoming release...what about following the fan who comes up with or does the best with promoting you on their own (i.e. Facebook, Twitter)? Word of mouth is always one of the fastest and most cost effective ways of advertising!

I think a way that you may share your performance is by streaming here but they would have to access a code to log, just to keep the setting intimate. As for selecting the lucky ones to attend, Well a computer randomly picks out winners, to keep it fair.

Hi Incubus!!!!!!!!Big Fan! I am 56 years young. KROQ fan since day one. Seen Incubus once at the Forum took the whole family. Kids ages 16 26. How about a Senior citizen pass for this event. Hope all is well. Have a great Life!!!!!!!
