"Invite Only Performances by Incubus" at HQLive -How To Qualify
Incubus is planning a week of events here in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of their new album "If Not Now, When?". And all kinds of things are going to be happening, from chats with the band, musician's clinics, behind the scenes look at the tour prep, and most of all some very special performances from the band from June 30-July 6...Six performances in all and all of it is going to be broadcast live on the internet. But for a lucky few, you can be part of the live in studio audience. Only 75 people can attend each performance so these invites will be highly in demand. Tickets are not being sold for these events. Its invite only and we can't figure out who to invite. That's where you come in. Give us some ideas of how we can pick the list. Think out of the box and think about how we can give everybody who'd like to be there a fair shot. Think about how we can involve fans not just from LA but also Incubus fans in the US and internationally as well. We will be keeping an eye out for great ideas and look forward to seeing the most deserving fans sitting on the couch that week.

My Idea would be picking one or two people from every state in the US.. Or pick people who have a a certain colored car and have to show proof.. I don't know if that is outside to box enough!! I REALLY HOPE SO :)

There's gonna be a show every night during the June 30-July 6 dates, I believe.

IDEAS FOR THE SHOW:
Considering that there are only 75 people each performance that are allowed into the secret venue I think that it would be wise to:
1 show: have an email blast put out to the fans located around Los Angeles and the first 75 that reply get into the show.
2 show: put a photo out of a location where wristbands will be given out to fans and 15 wristbands will be given out each hour till 75 is reached.
3 show: put out a phone number to call on twitter and the first 75 people to answer the question right regarding Incubus new album gets in.
4 show: get people to go on the incubus' facebook page and the 75 people who get the top comments wins their way into the 4th show
5 show: give out the location of the venue and when the wristbands are distributed give them to every 5th person in line
6 show: first 75 people to come to the location venue wearing an incubus shirt wins access to the show

I thought they had it worked out that it is going to be a raffle on the day of the HQ tours of the names of those visiting that day...

Yeah I think that's what's supposed to happen too. That if you signed up for any of the 1 hour clinic's you're automatically eligible to win a spot to see the band perform the night of whatever day you ended up going. Hmm...

Nope, they're doing a randomn drawing each day to select who gets to attend that night's performance.

What do you mean nope? They are doing a drawing of the names of attendees from that day at HQ for the show that will be held later that night, I am pretty sure that is what Marisa and I said. Yes you have roughly a 1/7 chance of going assuming that there are 75 people each hour, and 10 names drawn within each hour for the show later that night (7 business hours, 10 names drawn each hour= 70ish people for the rocking show)hahaha
And I have heard that as it stands they are doing one appointment for each fan able to attend, so that everyone may get a chance to see this amazing place. Everything I have heard is always subject to ROCK change. hehe
