Unfortunately, due to conflicting plans etc, I'm not going to be able to make any of the shows near where I live, in Texas. (ultrasadface) I've been listening to Incubus since I was 9, but throughout my childhood wasn't allowed to go to rock shows so I could never see them when they were in town. Now I'm 21 years old, my favorite band is finally back to tour in my city, and I won't be able to see them!! Its probably made me sadder than anything else that has ever happened to me in my entire life.
Does anybody else share my immense pain?
And if you have gotten to see them this year, please share your story and rub it in my face. It may be the closest thing to being there I get besides watching them on youtube.
to Incubus: PLEASE, NEVER STOP MAKING MUSIC. You guys have been there for me my whole life. Your band, your music, matured with me as I grew up, and continues to hit just the right notes with me now as an adult. You're the reason I listen to music. You're the reason I started making my own, and the reason why now I play instruments and share my passion for music with others. You've been going pretty strong for as long as I can remember and I hope to still be listening to new stuff from you when I'm 40, 50, hell until I die.
You're all wonderful people, inside and out. Your fans are just as amazing. Thank you for everything you have done for us.
