Every time anyone logs into the chat it seems like the first question is 'what's the news??' so here. Let's all put what we've heard down and where it's come from on this thread. We can keep it updated so people can come straight here and no one misses at thing.
Today at the morning briefing we got a (very blurry) preview of concepts for the album cover. It was really really blurry so I can't really describe the concepts other than there were three of them, but I think someone might have gotten a screen cap.
Renman said that the boys will be doing a photoshoot on Saturday and filming for the Adolescents video on Sunday, which he expects to be 'out there' by the 25th of April. He also confirmed that the band will be touring the US August-September, starting with the Red Rocks and ending in LA. Lastly, he told us that Brandon wrote a 'bio' letter for the new album like the letter that accompanied The Wild Trapeze.

Is it a real sticker, I cannot tell, I keep going to the site trying to get it to work, i tried to get it to work when I went to HQ also.. hmmmmm

They're not real stickers, they're virtual stickers, and as far as I can tell they're just a virtual collection 'game', as it were, where you can prove you have been to or watched certain things.

You can request them to send you stickers that you unlocked, for free in real life. you dont choose which they send you and its based on availability.
Theyre about the size of a pog, and i think you need to earn 20 or so stickers overall because they send them on a sheet. You can request a sheet once a month.

Monday July 18th 2011 7:50 am PDT Morning Briefing Notes
We're back!
* This week was the official start of the Incubus World Tour in Santa Barbara and San Diego! The band "got off to a ragin' start" as according to Ren, and songs from Santa Barbara: http://ow.ly/d/hLg and San Diego: http://ow.ly/d/hMm have been uploaded. Kuala Lumpur is coming up next on Saturday the 23rd!
* Ren would like to remind the faithful Incubus fans that not everything the band or even the band's team says is 100% serious. Occasionally we do joke around! Please keep in mind that neither the band nor the band's team ever particularly mean to insult anyone, if you're insulted by something we've said remember that we were probably making a joke, take a deep breath, and move on. Not everyone's sense of humor is the same but there should be room enough for everyone.
* Ren would also like to know, now that the record has been out for a week or so, which tracks are everyone's favorite tracks. Let him know! There should be a post coming up on the Incubus Facebook where you can leave your opinion.
* The European Tour Dates have been announced! You can find them either on the Facebook as events or at this link: http://incubushq.com/events/event/listUpcoming . This is the first leg for Europe, and unfortunately some countries like Spain and Portugal could not be fit in on this sweep, but Renman assures there will be a second leg where these countries should show up, in 2012.
* The Tour Guide video contest is still ongoing and will be open to ALL US DATES as well as EUROPEAN DATES, so please, please, get them done! Label them clearly so I don't lose track of them when you upload them to the thread.
* Incubus will be releasing a track pack for Rock Band! In 'early August' Megalomaniac, Pardon Me, Stellar, Adolescents and Wish You Were Here will become available as Downloadable Content.
* Ren wants to reassure fans that just because your city hasn't appeared on the first legs of the tour, that doesn't mean you'll be skipped over forever. As Brandon likes to say, the band is getting "old-ish" now, and being Incubus, they do things their way at the end of the day. This means they prefer to tour for a few weeks at a time, and then take a little bit of time off before the next group of dates on the tour. There will be enough of Incubus for everyone, never fear, they just require a little more patience than they used to as they take things a bit slower these days.
* Ren says that he suspects that Mike and Brandon still plan to do solo video chats but of course this is the rock business and everything can change at the last minute, so don't anyone get their panties in a wad about that.
* MYF VIP packages for Europe will be announced soon; Jake Versluis is graduating from Ren Management and being taken over by a gentleman named Brendan Deroche, so please be patient with us as things settle down.
* The band leaves for Malaysia tomorrow! The Pacific Rim tour is almost here, it should be a good run!

Do me a favor and ask Ren how he expects us to pick a favorite track from this beautifully crafted piece of art??! Hellll I can't even pick a few standout tracks, they're ALL way too good!! Excellent review for the latest album by the way Lauren!!
