Comment by SCommon on September 10, 2012 at 4:47pm: My kids and I were fired up for months to see Incubus at the Shoreline in MV. Traffic was SO horrendous, we get a text while in the car waiting to get into the venue that Incubus is already on stage and almost done with their set. It's true it's my bad for not arriving at the show earlier but the fact that the traffic was so horrendous and that Incubus played before Linkin Park was just a shocker. Devastated that we missed Incubus, we handed our tickets to some folks walking in (the only way you could really make it into the show cuz traffic as at a standstill) so they could enjoy Linkin Park (I'm not a huge fan but just mainly came to see Incubus) and we headed home. I hope in the future they play someplace other than the Shoreline when visiting the SF Bay area.

As soon as we got there my friend inside the concert texted me that Incubus had just left the stage. I only went to the concert to see Incubus and had been looking forward to it since they announced the tour. Super bummed! That was really nice of you Terri to give up your tix! I'm sure that made their night! So now to make up for it I'm drinking strawberry daqueri's and I have the surround sound ready for the televised concert tonight :) Wahoo!

My 2hr drive from Sacramento turned into 5+hr drive causing me to miss Incubus :'( Because that happened I decided to give my tickets to someone in line. I found a Dad with a young son that was going to his 1st concert to see his favorite band, Linkin Park. I gave my 6th row tickets to them. My hope was that maybe it would spark a lifelong love of music. Seeing and hearing your favorite band Live is truely magical! Seeing Incubus for the 12th time will happen on another day...

I've been trying to win these things for months, and when I least expected it, I won! So happy! I'm just hoping that Brandon is feeling well enough for the show and Incubus doesn't cancel like they did the two Canada shows over the weekend!
